twofacednickelBefore getting to general permissions below, I wanna put a few warnings here about Matt's character first off that might or might not be triggery.
Matt Engarde is a two-faced character; he appears very happy and outgoing simply to get people to trust him so he can use them to his advantage. He is also not above ruining people's lives and even ending people's lives if it is advantageous to him, or even as a means of revenge against someone he doesn't like.
That in itself might be triggery, but on top of that, Matt Engarde has actually driven a woman to suicide after breaking up with her in a relationship (because he was bored with her) and then ruining the next relationship she had after him. If that bothers you, please let me know, and try to keep this in mind if you ever consider having your character flirt or try to get serious with him.
None of this stuff will be very apparent in his CR, at least not for a while, and any mention of the suicide or his apathy towards it should almost never come up. Still, if you don't want CR with me for any of these reasons, please let me know.
Also please don't have your character touch his hair or notice his scars without my permission.
This might seem silly, but I'm serious, it's both rather spoilery and actually central to his character that his hair covers half of his face and hides those scars.

1. Backtagging: Yes, I'm all for it
2. Threadjacking: I generally don't mind, but depending on the context, if the two characters are talking about something rather private, please let me know first.
3. Fourthwalling: I'd prefer it if you didn't.
4. Offensive Subjects: Nothing comes to mind for me personally; if it seems extra triggery or squicky, please ask me first? Just feel free to hit me up on plurk or aim whenever you'd like.
IC:
1. Hugging this character: Go for it! He probably won't know how to handle it?
2. Kissing this character: Only if you're his girlfriend.
3. Flirting with this character: By all means, he'd love it~
4. Fighting with this character: Go for it; he'll probably fight right back.
5. Injuring this character (including limits/severity): Any injuries are fine, but ask me of course if it's going to involve any loss of body parts or anything to the point that he needs serious medical attention (like huge gashes or bullet wounds). Bruising and breaking bones is a-okay though.
6. Killing this character: Discuss it with me first, please.
7. Using telepathy/mind reading: Ask for permission first. Matt has a lot of secrets he hides, including his innermost and true thoughts, as well as his true personality. I don't want someone discovering his true nature in this manner.
